Success Came Sooner

When I signed up with my on-line art business in February 3rd, 2008, I prepared myself for a long wait before my on-line business would pick up its pace. In fact, I was thinking of something like 6 months of starving period. However, about a month after opening my on-line store, I started selling. Actually, I spent several months prior to my opening of the store on researching on how to do it. I have to tell you that it was very, very stressful to learn about on-line business. BoundlessGallery.com, the unique Illinois based on-line business that allows artists sell art directly to collectors, was my answer. What I quickly realized was the fact that just listing items there is not adequate to have a result in terms of sales.

Although it’s a history now, every day I am surprised to know there are new applications and services on Internet. And tomorrow, I will be finding out about new applications that I need to learn about. It’s very exhausting. MySpace, Facebook, and other thousands of networking tools are overwhelming to keep up with. But I do believe that if you don’t exist in Internet community, then you really don’t exist, if you are doing business on-line.

I feel better with the sales I made, but I still have to work very hard to market my art. On-line marketing really consists of eye strains/fatigue by looking at a computer monitor all day long.

Abstract Art

What do you see in abstract art? There's no incorrect answer to what you should see. Use imagination, Make up your own story and be convinced with it. Your story is the subjective truth you live with. Ultimately, it's not only about abstract painting, but also everything in life is about how you view things.
